The bV over 3rd and 7th voicing of Ab7b9 stacks C, Gb, Ebb, Gb and A from the bottom up: the major 3rd, minor 7th, flat 5th, minor 7th and flat 9th of the chord. It leaves out the root, Ab, for the left hand or the bass player to take.
