The Shell I voicing of G#7#5 stacks B#, D## and F# from the bottom up: the major 3rd, sharp 5th and minor 7th of the chord. It leaves out the root, G#, for the left hand or the bass player to take.
It's one of the Rootless 3-Note Shells voicings: three-note rootless voicings: the 3rd and 7th with one more tone, played over the root. The other for G#7#5 is Shell II.
